Overview
Founded in 1999, the Southern Collegiate Baseball League (SCBL) is a non-profit wood-bat summer collegiate league with teams in North Carolina, South Carolina, and eastern Georgia, providing a valuable opportunity for college players to compete against top-level competition. It features 8 teams playing a 40-game season from early June to late July, followed by playoffs culminating in a championship (Mooresville Spinners won in 2025). The league hosts an All-Star Game and emphasizes player development, community involvement, and MLB scouting, with over 100 alumni advancing to professional baseball.
